Your analytics choice

Nothing is sent to our analytics service until you choose “Allow analytics”. Your choice is saved in this browser so we can remember it. You can change it below or using “Analytics choices” in the footer. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we do not send analytics.

What we count

Page views, player starts, clicks through to YouTube or our social channels, brand downloads and ground, stamp or journey selections. We also count a broad device category and a source category such as Google, YouTube or direct.

These become daily totals. Our analytics database does not keep visitor profiles, names, email addresses, IP addresses, full referrer URLs, search terms, session recordings or individual browsing histories. Counts are not unique people, and a player start does not mean a completed video view.

Where information goes

The website runs on Vercel. Optional counts are sent to our own website endpoint and stored in a dedicated Supabase database in London. Hosting services also process connection information to deliver and protect the site.

For abuse prevention, the endpoint temporarily uses a one-way, minute-specific network token for rate limiting. It is separate from the analytics totals, contains no raw IP address and is removed after its short retention window. We keep daily aggregate totals for up to two years.

Changing your mind

Declining or withdrawing stops future analytics from this browser. Existing daily totals cannot identify your visit, so we cannot single out and remove an individual contribution. Blocking browser storage prevents us remembering your choice across visits.

Videos, maps and team access

YouTube players load when you choose to play a video. Map providers receive requests needed to display their maps. Their own privacy policies apply to those services.

The private team dashboard uses Google and Supabase for sign-in and an essential secure login cookie. Only approved team accounts can view it. Google account details are used for access control; they are not joined to visitor analytics. The editor guide and team dashboard are excluded from analytics collection.

Merch, when it arrives

No shop or payment provider is connected yet. We will explain any checkout, customer-data and marketing choices when the store launches.
